Illumination

Task: Draw an Illumination of your name. In medieval times illuminations were used frequently in books and documents. The first letter at the beginning of a chapter is big and fancy. We had to do two "illuminations" of our name. The first in colored pencil, the second colored in with crayon and the lines painted. This is the outline for the second one. Back when people actually used illuminations they would color it with wax and fill in the lines with ink.
